Leaky Pen: Poetry

A Winter Day by Allison

Snow flakes fall from the sky
Down down down they fall
Making the ground white
The snow is sparkling

When I glide down the
Hill on my sled I
Feel the cool wind
Blow against my face

I take a ball of snow then roll
It until it gets to be big and round
Then I add a carrot nose, stick
Arms, button eyes and a hat

When I stick out my tongue
To catch a snow flake
The cool wet flake melts
Away almost instantly

When I walk out side in the
Cold I take a deep breath
When I let it out you
Can see your breath float away

Then I go inside to have
Some hot chocolate
I put some marshmallows and
See them soak into the chocolate
