Mothers by Kaelee

A mother is someone you can count on,
someone who gives you advice,
someone that doesn’t think less of you
if you do something wrong.

Mothers are everything.
Someone you can go to in the night,
or if you just need a hug or talk
about anything or everything.

Someone to shop with, go on walks,
go play sports when none of your friends
can hang out.

You can go to her for fashion advice, (if you’re brave)
ask if you look good for the guys at school
and she’ll really tell you.

My mother is all of that and more.

If she wasn’t here with me, I wouldn’t
be the way I am.
I count on her to keep my inner most secrets,
even if it’s a little thing, that I can
figure out by myself I still go to her.

My mother is my best friend.
I think she is someone special.
And that is what a mom should be.

My mother is someone you can count on…
