That night Hannah, Lisa, and Shel went out to eat. Lisa ordered for Hannah because Hannah didn’t know what any of the food was.

“Alright,” said Hannah “so tell me what you were saying earlier about a disease.”

“Oh! In my happiness that you believed us, I’d almost forgotten.” Said Shel. “There’s a disease spreading through Cuña that only an earth-person can stop.”

“But why?” asked Hannah, confused.

“Well you see,” Said Shel, “originally, the earth-people and the Cuñans were one planet called earth. Well they got into an argument and ½ was for 1 thing and the other ½ disagreed. Well, they kept fighting wars and finally ½ just left and became its own planet called Cuña which is where you are now.”

“That’s really interesting but I still don’t see what all that has to do with this disease.” Hannah said.

“That’s what I was coming to. Thank you Miss.” Shel said as the waitress brought them their food. “See, soon after we split up with earth, one of us was struck with a deadly disease that was really contagious. We’ve figured out the cure but we need an earth-person to help. It’s simple enough, we need the blood of a Cuñan and an earth-person mixed together and only that will make the cure.”

“So you’re gonna have to cut me! I mean, I’m ok with that but won’t you need a lot of blood because there’re so many people who are sick?”

“No” Shel heaved a sigh “when the disease comes on you it will kill you within t-h-r-e-e minutes.”

“You mean you can’t say the number 3 either?” Hannah asked.

“Correct, for some reason, soon after we split up with Earth, we stopped being able to say the number after 2.”
