It was 9:30 and Shel was expecting Hannah and Lisa any minute. He knew that when they arrived he and Lisa would have to tell Hannah everything. And yet, because he was an optimist and because he knew how careful Lisa had been, when choosing someone to bring up to Cuña, he had a lot of hope that Hannah would love Cuña.

Even so, Shel’s nerves were very high that morning as he sat in his office waiting for Hannah and Lisa. Finally, a knock came at the door. He straightened his tie, walked over to the door, took a deep breath and opened it. Two women walked in the door. One, he recognized as Lisa. The other, however, he had never seen before in his life but he knew immediately that she was Hannah. Shel could tell right away that Hannah was an easygoing person. He could tell from the clothes she wore and from the smile she gave him as she walked in.

“Hello, my name is Shel, and if I am correct then your name is Hannah.” Shel said, sitting down and gesturing for the others to do the same.

“Hi,” Hannah said as she sat down across from Shel. “I understand that you wanted to meet with me”

“Yeah, um, there’s something that Lisa and I need to tell you. And it’s really crazy so if you don’t believe us I understand or if you do believe us and freak out I understand or if you just believe us then I will be grateful to you for the rest of my life.” Shel said and then he turned to Lisa. “Shall we do it?” He asked her. She nodded.
