The Great Adventures of Michael by Alex

There once was a magical person named Michael. He liked to travel around the world and collect things as proof, like magic spells and gifts, from wherever he traveled. He started traveling when he was 13 and traveled for 2 years. Now he is 15 and is growing more curious of what the world has in store for him by the day. Michael has spells like "Aiada carvada" that makes a shield from thin air so that he can shield himself from attacks from other people and monsters like dragons. He also has a spell called "Braitho sono" that lets him breath in the water in case his ship fell over. Michael now wants to go to a haunted, spooky island. Michael knows that there is a mansion on a hill in the island. He also knows that there is an amusement park a few miles away from the mansion. Michael thinks that if he stays for two weeks, he will probably find a spell that will turn him into a ghost if he wants to. He sails for three nights and three days. On the fourth morning a sailor yells, "Land! Land!" and Michael ran to the deck as fast as he could. He looked and saw the island. He saw thunder bolts shoot across the sky. Finally after an hour, Michael reached the shore and climbed out. He went to the mansion and opened the door. The door creaked very loudly and Michael stepped inside while watching the bats swooping out of the mansion and into the night. Michael looked at the wall and saw a switch that he thought would turn on all the lights. When he stepped to take a closer look, he saw it was not an ordinary old switch; it was a magical switch that opened a door. He flipped the switch and received a painful bite that was from a spider that he had not seen. Then he felt the ground moving below him and heard a small creak. Then Michael fell down, down, down into complete darkness. When he woke up again it was daytime and he saw what he had fallen into. It was a laboratory that had all sorts of spells in it and he saw a man the size of him who said, "Forgot to knock, eh?" and laughed hard. Then he said, "I'm Seymour, a scientist that makes ghosts." He eyed Michael and said, "I wonder why you fell down into a laboratory and fell unconscious for 12 days in my secret lab that I also invent spells in. But, no matter. I sense you are on a mission." "Well" Michael said, "I actually am on a mission to get a spell from this island as proof for coming here." Then Seymour said, "Ahhh, but you are in good timing! I have just invented a spell that turns you into a ghost and be trained to be the best ghost in the world that can defeat other ghosts whenever you feel like it. It, unfortunately just got hidden by one of my troublesome ghosts and I can't find it. Maybe if I give you a smaller version of it you can defeat the ghost. Trydania, you troublesome ghost!" The ghost so called Trydania floated up through the floor and said, "Yes?" "This man wants to challenge you and if he wins he will get the spell you hid. If he loses he will be yours. Deal?" Seymour said to both of them. "Deal," Trydania and Michael said. Then Michael used his new attack and tried to attack Trydania. Then Trydania dodged Michael and attacked him in the stomach. Michael accidentally dropped his ghost spell just when Trydania tried to attack him again. Instead of hitting him, Trydania went right through him and shot right through the whole mansion going faster and faster... and then she was gone. Michael saw that what was in her place was the spell she had hidden. He picked it up and then, suddenly, out of nowhere, something hit him so hard that he fell unconscious again. When he woke up it was the next day and he remembered that he should be sailing for home today because he promised that he would sail home after the next two weeks. Then he also remembered that he had gotten knocked unconscious and he reasoned that it must have been Trydania before she completely vanished. He jumped out of the bed he was in and yelled, "Bye Seymour!" and ran to his ship, happy to be going home again.
