Really I tried,

Truly I did.
But you see
I had to check for bugs
And then for monsters
And bleh, my closest was messy
But I found that one poster
Only without the tack
So I had to place it Just Right
Meaning I had to move that book
Oh! That’s where it was
I guess I should return,
Tomorrow of course!
But in the mean time
I really should put it away
Next to that old bear of mine
Wow, I loved that thing to pieces
Will it ever be fixed?
Kinda like my pants…
Maybe I should sew them right now
There! Just about right
Huh, where did I put the sewing kit before?
Ah yes, near that lamp
