Join author Jacqueline Briggs Martin and illustrator Claudia McGehee to hear the inspiration behind their book Creekfinding — a true story of a creek once lost but then found, set in the Driftless region of Iowa. After the program, children can try a variety of art activities, including “Gyotaku,” an ink printing art form developed in Japan. Approximately 1 hour.
