The Pulitzer committee called this family drama “a profoundly affecting drama that sketches the psychological and emotional contours of an average American family.”

With music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, Assassins has long been a favorite of theatre aficionados and helped give rise to the career of Neil Patrick Harris. Assassins is a quirky, revue-style musical that portrays both successful and would-be assassins with songs such as “Everybody’s Got the Right,” “The Ballad of Booth,” and “Another National Anthem.”
